TinyOffice in the Sky.
The 12-Hectare site will be able to accommodate two brand new and much larger Spirit of Tasmania vessels due to arrive in 2024. The Facility includes marshalling for 600 cars, 150 semi-trailers and has a world class three level access ramp that will be controlled from a TinyOffice.
Like all good projects, we had good plans. Working with Melbourne based Architect, Brand Architects, a design was reached that maximise the use of the HUCX prefab building system while creating a modern building that would not only be functional but would look awesome too.
Once the design is locked in we use our custom software to take the architectural drawings and convert them into all the components needed to make the HUCX Panels. The panels are made from large sheets of OSB (oriented strand board) cut on our CNC machine then filled with a polyethylene foam.
The TinyOffice on site! Still on its delivery trailer but this Tiny is destined to reside on top of a 13m high steel tower next to the loading ramp. We’re incredibly proud that one of our TinyOffice houses the controls for this state of the art facility.
